Collector of teapots, lover of dreams, a breath of air, raindrops of lava. Dynamic PoMoBoHoAfroTrannyHomo (of the fluid/no gender camp), opinionated, but open. Partnered to a lovely man, but still an incorrigible flirt. Seattle is the home of this Southerner in Exile. Welcome to my world.

Can we really talk about degree when it is still common for breast cancer to be conceived of as something for women only?
Also, it is not enough to merely say they "have it worse," but to further education for why (which is because estrogen creates more lobules than males after puberty)... but really, I want to desexualize it so we can all feel that it belongs to us so it can get the kind of coverage it needs instead of it being "something that affects women" and via the lens of sexism becomes something that, free of sex, can be fully embraced... or something really high-minded like that. *grins*
(ha -- we have looked at the same info! but check this part of it out.)
